The Mysteries of Bradshaw Ranch (2023) DVD Review

Paranormal investigations are all around the world. We find them on cable and on streaming services. I have enjoyed watching The Ghost Hunters through the years. So anytime I get to see a paranormal investigation I jump at the chance.

"Aliens, Portals and the Paranormal" is the tag line of this new documentary The Mysteries of Bradshaw Ranch. Now Mill Creek Entertainment have released this documentary on DVD!

Outside of Sedona, Arizona where the desert's whispers meet the enigmatic hum of the universe, lies a place shrouded in mystery and bathed in beauty. Welcome to Bradshaw Ranch, a paranormal hotspot that has captivated researchers' imagination for decades. This oasis of awe and wonder, where the mystical dance of vortexes and interdimensional portals unfold, has beckoned the curious and the brave to unravel its secrets.

For six exhilarating months, a team of intrepid explorers, a fusion of paranormal investigators, psychics, and open-minded scientists, delved into the heart of this enigma. Their mission? To capture on film and record on scientific instrumentation the elusive truth behind the high strangeness of Bradshaw Ranch. What they uncovered transcended the boundaries of our understanding, revealing a profound revelation: we are not alone in the universe.

This documentary follows the investigation team in Arizona at Bradshaw Ranch. Bradshaw Ranch was a great place where many films were made, including Elvis Presley’s 1967 Stay Away Joe.

The investigation team uses EMF’S (electromagnetic field readers), SLS or Kinect cameras (a device that uses a pattern of infrared dots to detect objects in the dark), ghost boxes (radio devices that scan AM and FM frequencies randomly), temperature readers, and to throw in a bit of cool history, a tesla coil.

The film runs 95 minutes long, but it is a fast 95 minutes. Writer and Director Ron Meyer continually impresses me with his productions, and this one is no different. The documentary is expertly narrated by Steve Austin.

The film has been transferred to DVD in widescreen format. It is presented in 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The audio is a Dolby Digital 2.0. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.

The picture quality of this transfer is tremendous. As for bonus features. There are none. I would have love to see some bonus scenes of an interview with Ron Meyer. But that is a minor complaint!

If you love paranormal shows as much as I do this DVD The Mysteries of Bradshaw Ranch is a must add to your collection. Head over to Amazon and order your copy today.
