Ticket to Paradise (2022) 4kUltraHD Blu-ray Review

There are few iconic Academy Award winners more recognizable to film fans than that of George Clooney and Julia Roberts. These two have been in some great films, and some maybe not so great. But in 2022 these two joined forces to bring film fans a romantic comedy entitled Ticket to Paradise.

Now Ticket to Paradise cane be streamed on streaming services. Or purchased on digital, but what about physical media? Universal Pictures Home Entertainment have come to our rescue. Now Ticket to Paradise is being brought to physical media fans in the new release, a 4K UltraHD/Blu-ray/Digital release.

Georgia (Julia Roberts) and David (George Clooney) are a divorced couple. These two couldn't despise each other any more if they tried. But they have one thing in common, their love for their daughter Lily (Kaitlyn Dever). Lily who just graduated from law school. goes on vacation in Bali falls in love with the Balinese seaweed farmer Gede (Maxime Bouttier). When Lily announces she is getting married and invites her parents, the two decide to put their hatred for each other aside to destroy this attempt at marriage.

Ticket to Paradise is a tremendous, little film. Julia Robert and George Clooney are delightful as the former couple not at odds. Kaitlyn Dever has grown up before our very eyes as the young girl on our TV screens "Last Man Standing". She is amazing here! As fun as the story is and as great as the acting is, the cinematography of the beautiful scenery seems to be the real star here. Simply gorgeous.

Ticket to Paradise is transferred to 4K in 2160p and in Blu-ray in 1080p. The film is presented in 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The audio on the 4k disc is a Dolby Atmos track and the Blu0-ray is a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. There are other audio options include Spanish and French and English Descriptive Video Service. Finally, there is subtitles in English, Spanish, and French.

The film looks absolutely stunning. The colors are bright. The blues of the water just make you want to jump right in. The picture is crisp and clean with no signs of digital artifacts. The audio is clear as a bell! This is a tremendous transfer.

But that is not all that is included. Now along with an extremely nice 4k transfer, Universal Pictures added a bonus digital copy of this film that can be redeemed on Movies Anywhere, Vudu Fandango, Youtube or anywhere you redeem your digital movies. But that's not all, they added some on disc bonus video features. Take a look at what has been included on this 4K UltraHD set.
