Rover Dangerfield Warner Archive Blu-ray
There are just some comedians that are so recognizable that just a glimpse and you know their name. Rodney Dangerfield was just such a comedian. He is known as the man who "gets no respect!" But beyond stand-up comedy and TV appearance he made a lot of hilarious movies during his career."

Who will ever forget the movies Caddy Shack, Back to School, Meet Wally Spark, Ladybugs, and Easy Money. But one thing is for sure, Rodney Dangerfield films were not family entertainment. That was until 1991 when he wrote and provided his iconic voice to the lead of the animated feature Rover Dangerfield. Now the good folks at Warner Archive has releases his animated classic on Blu-ray!

We meet Rover in Las Vegas, living the good life of a high-rolling hound. But -- win some, lose some -- he's transplanted to a farm where he gets the barnyard blues. Soon he has new friends and adventures, setting up and begging the question of whether the pooch will be genuinely happy in his new home. Find out by calling Rover over.

Rover Dangerfield is nothing like any Rodney Dangerfield film that you have seen before. Yes, there is the typical Rodney "gets no respect" character, just in canine form. Rover Dangerfield is a sweet, fun and beautiful love story filled with great music. Rodney crafted a wonderful little story. This is an animated feature for the whole family. But just parents should be aware there is some scenes of animal cruelty. Parents may want to watch this before showing it to their children.
