When you think of tough as nails men that fought against injustice, there are several names that come to mind. Stacy Keach's Mike Hammer, Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry, and Charles Bronson's Paul Kersey. The Death Wish movie series has been a fan favorite for years.

Kino Lorber under the division KL Studio Classics is giving physical media fans the opportunity to add the final two Paul Kersey Death Wish adventures to their collections with the release Death Wish IV: The Crackdown and Death Wish V: The Face of Death on Blu-ray. 




Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987): Haunted by his violent past, Paul Kersey struggles to forget the brutal deaths of his loved ones - and his obsessive one-man battle to avenge their murders. But when a dose of toxic 'crack' kills the young daughter of his new girlfriend (Kay Lenz, Breezy, House), Kersey again becomes the infamous urban vigilante. 

Death Wish 4 has been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. The audio is a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. There are also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Both of these films look and sound amazing on Blu-ray. The picture is crisp and clean, and the audio is clear.

Now in addition to a beautiful transfer, this disc includes the film's Theatrical Trailer and an insightful Audio Commentary by Film Historian Paul Talbot, the author of the BRONSON's LOOSE! Books.



Death Wish 5: The Face of Death (1994):  Charles Bronson appears in his final appearance as Paul Kersey. After battling on the streets in cities from coast-to-coast, the vigilante has moved back to New York. But when his beautiful fiancée Olivia (Lesley-Anne Down, The Great Train Robbery) is killed and her daughter kidnapped by a kingpin of the underworld, Kersey find himself back in the war.

Charles Bronson's Death Wish movies are still exciting and entertaining even over 30 years later. It is good to note for people who have never seen this series. These film are very adult and should be viewed by mature audiences.

Kino Lorber put a lot of love into these two Blu-ray. The transfers are amazing. And the bonus audio commentaries are filled with tons of great information. These are defiantly worth listening to. For fans of the Death Wish movie series these Blu-rays are a must add to your collection.
