Synapse Films have been releasing horror classics physical media fans are just eating up! They released a Dario Argento's Phenomena on 4k UltraHD and Blu-ray. Now it is time for another Argento horror film. For the 40th Anniversary it is time for 1982's Tenebrae on 4k and Blu-ray.
American mystery author Peter Neal (Anthony Franciosa, Death Wish II) comes to Rome to promote his newest novel, Tenebrae. A razor-wielding psychopath is on the loose, taunting Neal and murdering those around him in gruesome fashion just like the character in his novel. As the mystery surrounding the killings spirals out of control, Neal investigates the crimes on his own, leading to a mind-bending, genre-twisting conclusion that will leave you breathless!
Dario Argento's Tenebrae is really the best of both world, horror and mystery. The acting is good, but the cinematography of Luciano Tovoli (Suspiria) is the real star here. Tenebrae really takes you on a rollercoaster ride you will never forget.
The film has been transferred to UltraHD in 2160p and on Blu-ray in 1080p There are both presented in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. There are two audio options DTS-HD Master Audio lossless mono for both Italian Language and English. English subtitles for the Italian soundtrack.
