Summer Camp was always fun. Getting into the great outdoors hiking and swimming. Getting away from the comforts of home and roughing it! Getting close to nature.

We probably all have been to summer camp at least once in our lives. And if we haven't we probably all at least experienced it with a Summer camp movie.

Well as Summer is coming to an end Classic Cinema Plus decided to countdown our Top 7 favorite Summer camp films. Let's take a look.  

7. Troop Mom (2009)
Eddie Serrano (George Lopez) is a dad who volunteers to chaperone his daughter's camping troop - unaware he'll be the only guy in a world of girls.

6. Daddy Day Camp (2007)
 When their wives' feel their children need to attend summer camp, the daycare entrepreneurs Charlie Hinton (Cuba Gooding Jr.) and Phil (Paul Rae) decide to buy their dilapidated alma mater, Camp Driftwood and turn it into a daddy day camp.

5. Troop Beverly Hills (1989)
 Phyllis Nefler (Shelley Long) is a soon to be divorced Beverly Hills socialite determined to prove to her husband and herself that she can finish what she starts. So she becomes a den mother to a troop of Beverly Hills Girl Scouts.

4. Camp Nowhere (1994)
 A group of kids bribe Dennis Van Welker (Christopher Lloyd), an ex-teacher, to pose as a counselor for a fake camp and rent a campground where the kids can run wild. All is great until their parents want to come for a visit.
