Top 7 Bruce Willis Films

Written by Jason Lockard

At the time of this written we are a week removed from the news that Bruce Willis would be retiring from action because of a diagnosis of aphasia. Aphasia is a condition that hinders a person’s ability to communicate, making it difficult for them to comprehend others, write or speak.

I remember seeing Bruce Willis alongside Cybill Shepherd in the show Moonlighting as he played private detective David Addison. This in my humble opinion is his greatest role. It was the perfect mix of comedy, drama, action, adventure and romance.

Now full disclosure I haven't seen a lot of Bruce Willis films, but I have seen enough to list my Top 7 favorite films that I have seen! So the following is my list.

7. The Kid (2000) Russ Duritz is an unhappy image consultant, one night an 8-year-old kids shows up to give him a second shot at life.

6. Red (2010)
When former black ops agent Frank Moses' peaceful life is threatened by a high-tech assassin. He reassembles his old team in an effort to survive and uncover the truth.

5. Armageddon (1998)
After it is discovered that an asteroid the size of Texas is going to impact Earth, NASA recruits a misfit team of deep-core drillers to save the planet. But the race is on!

4. Unbreakable (2000) After a horrific accident
David Dunn learns something extraordinary about himself.

3.
Sin City (2005) Hartigan is a cop with a bad heart, who has promised to protect a stripper to his last breath.

1. The Sixth Sense (1999)

Now even though there will be no more Bruce Willis films to come, Bruce has left quite a legacy of films. His films will keep fans entertained for generation. We here at Classic Cinema Plus want to thank Mr. Willis for an amazing career.

Now in conclusion we want to wish Mr. Willis a happy retirement and hopefully a long a healthy life. Anything is possible, just look at Michael J. Fox.
