Faith based films are popping up all over. Whether it’s TV, Theatrical or straight to DVD releases. Faith based films inspire and make the viewers feel good. Many families are always looking for one to watch. Well, Jam Films and Arc Entertainment a few years ago brought us The Squeeze.

The film follows Augie Baccus a young golf phenom from a small town who struggles to provide for his mom and young sister. When a gambler named Riverboat hears of the phenom he sees a chance to cash in big on the young man’s talent. Augie sees his opportunity to make good money for doing what he loves playing golf even though it is against his faith.

Riverboat has big plans to hustle the infamous mobster Jimmy Diamond, but little do they realize that Jimmy sees the hustle and threatens Augie that if he doesn’t loose he will end up dead. Than Riverboat hearing of the threat threatens Augie if he doesn’t win his family will end up dead. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. What will Augie do? You’ll have to watch the film to find out.

Based on a true story The Squeeze is an entertaining and fun film. While it does have faith at the core of the story Christians may find this film a bit offensive because of some profanity and sexual scenes.
