Shark Bait Collection {DVD Review}

Reviewed by Jason Lockard

Going swimming was a joy for most people, that was until the film Jaws! Than the whole idea of swimming changed. There is something unnerving about what lies beneath. You can't see it coming and before you know it the creature is on you and there is nothing you can do.

Filmmakers have been trying to recapture the magic that was Jaws for years but to no avail. So what we mostly get is the campy B-movies. And for fans of those type of films they seem to not be able to get enough of them.

Well, the good folks at Mill Creek Entertainment have got you b-movie maniacs covered this summer, with a collection of campy deep sea terror with the Shark Bait collection. Let's take a look at what is included in this 2 movie set.

Our Rating System
**** = Don't Miss it!
***= Worth a look.
**= An OK way to spend an evening.
*=You haven't missed anything

Ok as you can see from our star ratings none of these films are good. They are just scifi horror at its campiest. As for this DVD release all films have been transferred in widescreen in 1.78:1 aspect ratio and all in Dolby digital 5.1 audio except for Alligator Alley which is in just Dolby digital..

This is a 2 disc DVD release. That's three movies on one DVD and four on the second DVD. As for the film transfers the two film on each disc look and sound good. There is a little sign of pixelation, but nothing that should take away from the viewing of these releases.

So if you love those campy movies. This is a great collection of films to add to your collection, And it's just in time for Shark Week. You can head over to MillCreekent.com or Amazon.com and pick up your copy today!
