Lisa (Erin Karpluk) and Dan (Randal Edwards) seem to have the perfect marriage, but after 15 years of marriage they feel it's time to spice things up! So they invite their friends TeeJay (Michael Xavier) and Skai (Erin Agostino) for a weekend at their lake house. but not for a causal weekend away! It's for more of a "swap"! Easy plan, what could go wrong? Well, no one expected Dan's friend Geoffery (Jonas Chernick) and his embittered wife Fiona (Mia Kirshner) to show up!
This is a Canadian produced comedy/drama. While the story tries to bring fun and laughter to the serious situation of commitment. And I think in a way to maybe open communications about how to approach problems in a marriage. The film seemed to fall short of entertaining and thought provoking for me!
On this DVD release the film is presented in widescreen format, the audio and video quality of the film looks and sounds really clear. There is some nice bonus features include; a slideshow and trailer of this film. Plus bonus trailers for other film releases. So at least it isn't a bare bones release.
For people who like those irreverent, off-the-wall comedies this one may be right up their alley. But this is not a film for every viewer. This is a very niche audience type of film release.
