Are we there yet? (2005) {Blu-ray Review}

Family films can be hard to find these days. But about 10 years ago rapper Ice Cube stepped into the world of family entertainment with Are we there yet? At the 10 year anniversary Mill Creek Entertainment has released this film on Blu-ray.

The film follows Nick Persons (Ice Cube) a confirmed bachelor who owns a collectables sports shop in New York. He is happy in his single life until he meets Suzanne Kingston, a business woman. He infatuated with her, there is only one problem she's a "breeder" as he calls women with children. Fate takes control when Nick sees her standing in the rain when her car has broken down. He finds out she is just as sweet as she is pretty.

Nick has now completely fallen for Suzanne and when she needs to fly to Vancouver and her children's dad her ex-husband backs out from taking care of them. It's up to Nick to bring them to Suzanne. This starts a chain of event that will have the whole family laughing.

Even if the film is a bit predictable it does offer a lot of enjoyment for the whole family. This film has been beautifully transferred to Blu-ray, but sadly there is no bonus features.

So if you want a fun film for the whole family you can't find one much better than Are we there yet! Head over to www.MillCreekEnt.com or your local video provider and pick this one up today!
