Youtuber Michael Shanks wrote and directed this film. Amazingly enough this was his directorial debut. After debuting at Sundance Film Festival and a theatrical run, now it's time for a physical media release. Together makes it's Blu-ray debut thanks to Decal-Neon.
Synopsis: Years into their relationship, Tim and Millie find themselves at a crossroads as they move to the country. With tensions already flaring, an encounter with an unnatural force threatens to corrupt their lives, their love and their flesh.
Now there is no way under the sun I am going into detail with this film. I could easily spoil it. And this film needs to be seen to be believed. Let's just say the story is well crafted, the acting is good, and the special effect are awesome. Alison Brie and Dave Franco have nice chemistry in this film. It is not a perfect film by any stretch of the imagination, but it is good for a Micheal Shanks first film.
This is a psychological horror film that takes you on a painfully horrific ride. Just for pure information this horror film is kind of graphic in nature. There are some nauseating scenes. And there is some sexual content that could be offensive. So just viewer beware going into this film. But one thing is for sure once you watch this film you will never forget it!
Together has been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p and is presented in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. There are two audio track is an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and an English descriptive track 2.0. As for subtitles there are English, Spanish and French.
The films transfer to Blu-ray is a good one. There are no signs of compression issues. There is no digital artifacts or audio anomalies. In addition to a nice-looking transfer there is some cool bonus features included on this Blu-ray! Take a look at what is included.
