This year (2025) is the 35th Anniversary of the first films release. So, for this epic anniversary Arrow Video have restored and now released The TMNT Trilogy on super deluxe 4k UltraHD. As a kid who grew up on these cartoon reruns and movies. I could not be more excited for this 4K release.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) With a new crime group known as the Foot Clan are harassing New York City. From the shadows emerges four teenage ninja fighters of crime, and they just happened to be mutant turtles. ***
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) The evil Shredder and his Foot Clan are back and this time they are not alone. Shredder uses the 'ooze' to create mutant monster to destroy his 4 thorns in his side, the Turtles. ***
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time (1993) Journalist April O'Neil discovers an ancient scepter that transports her back to 17th century Japan. Now it is up to the Turtles to rescue her from the evil clutches of Lord Norinaga. **
Now these films are not how brow action films, but they are a fun little adventure. The Jim Henson Creature shop did tremendous work that still holds up over 3 decades later. I cannot lie I thoroughly enjoyed watching these film again, but this time in 4k! Even the weakest of the trilogy TMNT 3.
Arrow Video did a tremendous job on restoring this trilogy in UltraHD. These restorations have been performed from the best quality prints possible and what results are crisp and clean versions of the 90s action films. The grungy part of the city is gritty and detailed to extreme degrees and the colors are bright and vibrant really bring the 90s culture to UltraHD light. I am amazed at how good these films look in 4K!
But Arrow Video didn't just restore and throw these films on discs and call it a day. No Way! Each film receives its own 4K disc loaded with bonus features. Take a look at what is included on these discs.
