Mabuse Lives!: Dr. Mabuse at CCC: 1960-1964 ( Blu-ray Review)

In 1921 Norbert Jacques created a nefarious literary supervillain named Dr. Mabuse! Dr. Mabuse was a master of disguise and telepathic hypnosis. In the adventures he would use body transference often through demonic possession, all for one purpose to change the world into a "society of crime".

As with any popular story producers would want to make these stories into feature films and it wasn't long after Dr. Mabuse stories were published that producers came calling and films were made.

The legendary director Fritz Lang made two Dr. Mabuse films, but in 1960, Artur Brauner's CCC Film hired Lang to make a third Dr. Mabuse feature. After the huge success of the film Mabuse was revived into a complete film series.

Now Eureka Entertainment have rescued the complete CCC Films Mabuse movie series and released them on a deluxe Blu-ray set. Now the world can experience the criminal mastermind Dr. Mabuse and even introduce a whole new generation to this evil supervillain.
