WWE Hall of Famer Afa The WIld Samoan passes away

Just a little over a month after the passing of his brother, Sika, Gataivasa Afa Amintuana'i Anoa’i, known in the wresting business as Afa the Wild Samoan has died. He was 81.

The news was broken by Samu Anoa’i on the afternoon of August 16: “It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of my father Afa Anoai Sr. It was a peaceful transition and he was surrounded by loved ones. Please respect our privacy as we morn our father.”

Afa had been facing health issues since 2023. He suffered a fractured back, a heart attack and battling pneumonia.

Afa now joins his brother Sika in the afterlife. Our sincere condolences go out to "The Bloodline" the Anoa’i family in this time of loss!
