Samoa Joe takes extended leave from AEW for Peacock Network!

Wednesday Night on AEW Dynamite FTW Champion Chris Jericho and Samoa Joe had a Stampede Street Fight. As vicious as this match was it went even violence took a whole other level when Jericho loaded Joe onto a forklift and drove him through a wall, resulting in a referee stoppage. Afterward this heinous event Joe was placed on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance.

Now Joe will be gone from AEW for an extended amount of time. During this time away from the ring. Joe will be shooting season 2 of the Peacock original series Twisted Metal. On this show he plays the villainous character Sweet Tooth.

We can expect Samoa Joe's in ring return in October! We can rest assured that Joe will be out for revenge on Jericho and his Learning Tree.
