WWE is in a shake-up with networks for their programming. Monday Night Raw is going to Netflix. Smackdown is leaving Fox for USA and NXT is leaving USA for The CW. Now with all these shake-ups there was thoughts would these shows stay on the nights they have been on all these years.
NXT is WWE's the developmental show. Launched by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE NXT has aired weekly since 2012. It is amazing to realize that nearly 90% of the WrestleMania talent passed through NXT.
The CW Network has officially announced that WWE NXT will continue to air on Tuesday nights after transitioning from the USA Network to the CW Network this fall. This means that there will be two wrestling shows on Tuesday Nights on CW. NWA Powerrr on the CW App and NXT will air on the CW from 8-10pm.
It remains to be seen if NXT will eventually air on the CW App or if the replays will just head over to the WWE Network on Peacock as it has been the last few years.
