William James Murray was born September 21, 1950. He is known for his iconic films, but for many fans they remember his time on Saturday Night Live. He only spent a short 3 seasons on SNL but left behind a lot of fun sketches and hilarious Weekend Updates.

After his tenure on SNL he joined up with Harold Ramis and the two would bring many great films to the screen. So now in honor of his 72nd birthday, Classic Cinema + is counting down our Top 7 favorite Bill Murray films. 

7. Garfield (2004) Jon Arbuckle buys a second pet, a dog, much tp the dismay of his cat Garfield. Voiced perfectly by Bill Murray.
