Wings Seasons 3 and 4 (2014) {DVD Review}

Reviewed by Jason S. Lockard

Joe Brian Helen Lowell and the rest of the wacky crew from Tom Nevers Field airport are back for two more laugh filled seasons of Wings thanks to Mill Creek Entertainment!

Wings if you are unaware follows a brother team of Joe and Brian Hackett who operate a small airport on New England island of Nantucket. They are surrounded by wacky characters such as Roy, Fay and Lowell, but in season 3 and 4 new character show up Antonio and Alex Lambert.

In this 2 season DVD set we get 44 hilarious episodes. Some of the best were; The Bank Dick: After returning from a vacation made possible by a hefty tax refund, Brian finds out that the refund was an error. To help pay it back he takes on a second as a security guard at the bank. Das Plane: Joe is on cloud 9 when he finds out that the ticket he donated to the children’s hospital’s charity event brought in a staggering $10,000 dollars. The houseguest: Helen invites grumpy old man Carlton Blanchard to her house, but when he falls down her stairs he threatens a lawsuit from his lawyer son. It’s nice to have a Mather around the house: When Brian borrows Lowell’s boat for a date and sinks it he is forced into invite Lowell to stay with him and Joe.

This 5 disc DVD set is an awesome amount of entertainment for a very low price. With crisp video and audio and easy to navigation DVD menus this is one great set. The only downside I see with this set is that some of the episodes are edited version and not the original broadcast episodes.

If you love Wings as much as I do this is an absolute must have. Season 3 and 4 that’s 44 episodes. If you love good comedy by all means I suggest you head over to Amazon and pick up a copy today!
