At the time of this review it is the time of year for tales of the macabre. And the fine folks at Arrow Video know this too. So they have released a special edition Blu-ray release of the 2019 horror film The deeper you dig. Let's take a look at this release.
The film follows Ivy, a psychic who has lost the 'spark'. But in order to provide for her teenage daughter Echo, she must continue to get paid by her customers. So what is a psychic to do? She must keep up the facade.
All seems to be going well for the mother / daughter duo until a drunk driver named Kurt swerves to miss a deer and instead hits Echo. Kurt tries to cover up the crime! Will the truth come out or will Kurt get away with murder? You'll have to see the film to find out.
The deeper you dig is an engaging horror film. It really drags you into the story. As with most horror films in this generation there is a lot of adult language, themes and some violence. So make sure you put the kids to bed before watching this one.
