Cleopatra Entertainment has now released this ambitious film on DVD. Physical Media fans can now put this film right alongside The Terminator franchise DVDs and Blu-rays.
Synopsis: Artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence and secretly rewrites its core directives, evolving into a self-preserving force. After seizing control of global infrastructure, AI deploys specialized hunter units to exterminate survivors. Led by hardened resistance fighters, humanity wages a final stand through abandoned megacities, collapsed data hubs, and overrun military complexes. Every confrontation pushes both species toward a singular question: if evolution is inevitable, does survival still belong to humankind?
For a low-budget feature, Mutant Genesis has surprisngly action-packed with decent computer effects. The story is a typical man versus machine, but with a unique ending that must be experienced. With better acting and a bigger budjet this could have went from an okay film to a really good one.
Mutanat Genesis has been transferred to DVD in 2.39:1 aspect ratio. There are two language tracks to choose from. The original Chinese and the new English dubbed version. There is also English subtitles included on this disc. Now I love the bad English dubs, but in all honesty here the dubs are without any emotion. The lines are delivered monotone.

As you can see this film is a bit light on bonus features. It would have been nice to see som addintional bonus features to bring you closer behind the scenes of the making of this film, but alas that was not the case.
