Dust Bunny 4k Review – A Unique and Horrific Journey you'll never forget

Bryan Fuller is best known for creating the television series Pushing Daisies (2007–2009) and Hannibal (2013–2015). He also wrote episodes of the beloved Star Trek television series Voyager (1997–2001) and Deep Space Nine (1997).

After years of writing and producing in 2025 Bryan Fuller wrote, produced and directed (for the first time) an independent horror film entitled Dust Bunny. Now, finally, this horror film comes to home video on 4K UltraHD.

Synopsis: When 10-year-old Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her family, she hires her hit man neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen). Suspecting the girl's parents may have fallen victim to hit men gunning for him, Aurora's neighbor guiltily takes the job. To protect Aurora, he'll need to contend with an onslaught of assassins, a mysterious associate with killer heels (Sigourney Weaver), and accept that some monsters are real.

When you are making a directorial debut it doesn't always mean that it is going to be a good thing. Some are just not meant to direct. And after so many years of writing maybe Bryan Fuller wasn't mean't to direct, right. Well, I would so wrong. Dust Bunny is a quirky horror film with stunning visuals and special effect that really stay with you even after the credits roll.

Mad Mikkelsen and Sofie Slone have a real Leon the Professional relationship going on in this film. And Sigourney Weaver is pure gold as always in anything she does. Dust Bunny is definitely a horror film you should check out.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has transferred Dust Bunny to 4K UltraHD in 2160p and is presented in 3.00:1 aspect ratio. The audio track is an English Dolby Atmos track. There is also the option for an English Descriptive track, English or Spanish subtitles, and an English SDH track.
