These TV specials have been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p and are presented in the original full screen format in 1.33:1 aspect ratio. and the episode 'Happiness is a warm blanket' being presented in widescreen format in 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The audio track is an English 5.1 Dolby Digital. There are also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
These episodes have never looked better than they do on Blu-ray! The colors are so vibrant, and the picture is crisp. The audio is clear throughout all 40 TV specials. In addition to gorgeous looking Blu-ray transfers. This Blu-ray set includes a booklet with every episode with the original air date. Plus, little bios of every single Peanuts member. This is a great little bonus for this set!
Peanuts have always been one of my favorite viewing experiences in Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I look forward to these holidays to see these specials. Now they are on Blu-ray along with so many other great Peanuts specials. This is a dream come true for me.
