WWE Smackdown is returning to it's 2 Hour format and we know the date!

When WWE Friday Night Smackdown moved to USA Network they started running 3 hours. The rumors were that this was a temporary thing. Well now we know that Smackdown will be returning to 2 hours, and we know the date.

Yesterday USA Network announced the plans to launch a new program, The Rainmaker, during the timeslot typically allocated for WWE SmackDown’s third hour.

The Rainmaker will begin airing on August 15 at 10 PM EST. With this schedule SmackDown will have to return to it's original two-hour format.

But now Pwinsider is reporting that WWE SmackDown will return to a two-hour format on July 4.

Do you enjoy the 3 hour Smackdown or do you prefer the shorter version. Let us know in the comments. And as always thanks for visiting the Classic Cinema+ Wrestling News Hub.
