Arrow Video released Jason Goes to Hell on 4K UltraHD and in addition to that film now Jason X receives a 4K UltraHD release. This will make a great addition to the slasher wing of a home video library.
Synopsis: The year is 2455, humanity has left an overly polluted Earth for a new planet they've christened Earth II. A crew of scientists on an expedition to Earth I discover a research facility near Camp Crystal Lake where Jason Voorhees' body has been cryogenically frozen. They decide to bring him back on their spaceship, but in so doing seal their doom! As they depart once again for the furthest stars, the masked maniac awakens, ready to kill again!
Now you might think Jason Voorhees in space would just be terrible, but you would be wrong. The film has everything, humor, jump scares, terror and vicious kills. Everything you are looking for in a Friday the 13th film. And plus, it has the great Kane Hodder! Can't go wrong with that!
Arrow Video has transferred Jason X to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in 2160p. There are two audio options an original lossless stereo and DTS-HD 5.1 surround audio options. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Arrow Video's transfer is as sharp as a tack. There are no signs of scratches, dirt or any kind of damage to this print. The picture quality is simply gorgeous.
