3 Superstars Released from WWE as Crown Jewel is set to take place

Today (Saturday November 2, 2024) is WWE's Crown Jewel PLE. Before the festivities take place, WWE has decided to part ways with three Superstars. The three superstars are Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox.

Baron Corbin was informed that his contract would not be renewed. Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox will be free agents within 90 days.

Baron Corbin, is the longest tenured superstar of the three. He has been with the company for 12 years. During his WWE career he won the United States title, NXT Tag Team titles (with Bron Breakker), the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy, and the 2017 Money in the Bank briefcase.

Corbin posted a statement from his X (formerly Twitter) account:
“That’s all she wrote folks. It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me.”

Indi Hartwell is a former NXT Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. Hartwell maybe best known for her storyline with Dexter Lumis on NXT. 

Indi posted on X “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”.

Tegan Nox started in NXT in 2017, before being called to the main roster in 2021. Tegan competed in the NXT Women's WarGames match in 2019. She appeared on both Raw and SmackDown brands. She even competed in the 2024 Royal Rumble.

As of this posting she has yet to make a statement on the release.

There is a lot of options out there. AEW, TNA Wrestling, MLW, New Japan Pro Wrestling. No doubt these three won't be out of work for long!
