Clive Barker is a horror author, screenwriter, comic writer, artist and filmmaker. He changed the very world of horror when he brought us Candyman and Hellraiser. There is no better time to jump into Clive Barker's horror films than on Halloween.

Arrow Video has been restoring and releasing cult films on deluxe 4K and Blu-ray for a while now. And now just in time for the Halloween Season 2024 Arrow Video is releasing Clive Barker's Hellraiser films in a limited edition box set entitled Hellraiser: Quartet of Torment.

Hellraiser (1987) A woman discovers the newly resurrected, partially formed, body of her brother-in-law and lover. She starts killing for him to revitalize his body and escape the demonic beings that are pursuing him after he escaped their underworld. ***

Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) Kirsty is brought to an institution after the horrible events of Hellraiser (1987), where the occult-obsessive head doctor resurrects Julia and unleashes the Cenobites and their demonic underworld. ***

Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) An investigative reporter must send the newly unbound Pinhead and his legions back to Hell. ***

Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996) In the 22nd century, a scientist attempts to right the wrong his ancestor created: the puzzle box that opens the gates of Hell and unleashes Pinhead and his Cenobite legions. **

The Helllraiser films are something out of your worst nightmare. Clive Barker really has a way to tap into human fears and make them come to life on your TV screen. And Pinhead is really something from a nightmare! These film are extremely gory, have a fair amount of adult language and sexual content.

Arrow Video have restored these 4 Hellraiser films in 4K from the original camera negatives. The films have been transferred in 1080p. The audio is an original lossless stereo and DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround audio for all four films. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Arrow Video has done a tremendous job in this restorations. The films have never looked as good as they do now. Arrow Video continues to impress with their work on restorting films. But just great looking restorations is not all that this box se has going for it. Arrow Video added so much more bonus features to this 4K UltraHD release. Take a look at what is included.
