Since summer 2024 Penta has been teasing a move to WWE. But he made it clear that he would only make the move with his brother. The brothers have held tag team titles everywhere they have been, so WWE signing both of them is a no-brainer.
This is the first new contract the Lucha Brothers have signed since their AEW one. They have been part of amazing matches and feud with the likes of The Young Bucks since their debut on the company’s inaugural show in 2019.
Continued reports said that the multi-year deal would include them skipping NXT and head straight to the main roster.
Now it is more than likely that they will sign with WWE, but as of now they haven't. The reason is Rey Fenix contract with AEW is not up yet. So while most expect them to sign with WWE, it is not offical yet!
