The Hurt Business gets a new name!

Bobby Lashley and MVP were officially moved to WWE’s alumni section on Friday (8/16/2024). So both of their contracts with WWE are over. That means they are both free agents and can work anywhere they would like to!

Now as wrestling fans know they were part of a group called the hurt business in WWE, but that named is owned by WWE! So what is a group to do! Well, I think we have our answer.

On August 15th, a new trademark for The Hurt Syndicate was filed by Totally Harmless Concept, LLC.

Totally Harmless Concept, LLC previously filed now-dead trademarks on MVP and Ghetto Strong Style.

You can check out the official trademark description below:
“Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, ties as clothing, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas.”

So it looks like The Hurt Syndicate could soon be coming to AEW, TNA Wrestling, or maybe New Japan. Who knows the possibilities are almost endless!
