Deadgirl (15th Anniversary Edition) Blu-ray Review

Deadgirl Blu-ray Cover
Teen Horror films! Audiences seem to love these films and can't get enough of them. From Friday the 13th to A Nightmare on Elm Street. From Scream and I know what you did last summer to Final Destination. It seems that every generation has that teen film that they love.

Now for the 15th year anniversary Unearthed Films is releasing DeadGirl on Blu-ray so physical media fans can add it to their Teen Horror movies collections.

When high school misfits Rickie and JT decide to ditch school and find themselves lost in the crumbling facility of a nearby abandoned hospital, they come face-to-face with a gruesome discovery: a body of a woman - stripped naked, chained to a table and covered in plastic - and soon realize she is anything but dead. Quickly the boys find themselves embarking on a twisted yet poignant journey testing the limits of their friendship, and forces both to decide just how far they're willing to stretch their understanding of right and wrong.

Marcel Sarmiento and Gadi Harel work together here to produce and direct a shocking and disturbing horror film. The acting is good. But the subject matter is so disturbing that it is extremely hard to watch. I will say this, after watching DeadGirl you will not soon forget it!

Deadgirl arrives on Blu-ray in 1080p and is presented in 2.35.1 widescreen. There are two audio options an English language DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio track and a LPCM 2.0. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing!

Unearthed Films transfer of DeadGirl looks and sounds amazing. There are no signs of damage to the print. Unearth Films did it again with another amazing looking transfer.
