In the 1980's and 1990's certain names were synonymous with action, Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Van Damme, Seagal, and Lundgren. Dolph Lundgren burst into the mind of moviegoers in the film Rocky IV. From that point on he would continue to be in films playing such iconic characters as The Punisher and He-Man.

In 2013 however, Dolph Lundgren joined J.R. Martinez in a TV Series entitled Saf3. The series followed Southern California's elite rescue task force, SAF3 (pronounced "safe"). Now the good folks at Mill Creek Entertainment are releasing a movie pieced together from episodes of this series.

This movie follows John Eriksson and his elite rescue task force. They are struggling to keep their program alive, all while continuing to perform daring rescues and risking their lives as part of the Malibu Fire Department. John struggles with a real addiction and when a drill led by Graciela Vega (Jocelyn Osorio), a trauma nurse in the Los Angeles forest, turns into a real rescue when the SAF3 team comes across a welder fighting for his life.

This is an exciting and dramatic presentation. Dolph Lundgren is acting at his best in this series. He is like a father figure to his young team. The storyline of the risk rescue works take to save lives is very well done.

As for the production value of this series, it is top notch. The film presenation does have a slight Baywatch vibe to it. So if you love that show this film would be right up your alley. But the film is not just all eye candy it is real stories.

Now for the DVD release. The film is presented in widescreen format in 1.78:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Digital audio. The film looks and sounds crystal clear. The transfer is absolutely stunning. As for bonus features, there is a trailer of this TV Movie.

So if you are a fan of Dolph Lundgren, real-life dramas or story of the brave men and women rescue workers. Saf3 2 Under Pressure is for you. It's not for everyone but those that love those genres are going to be in 7th heaven with this one. Head over to MillCreekEnt.com or your local DVD provider and pick up your copy today.
