Pinocchio Vampire Slayer Versus the Vampire Zoo (2015) {Comic Book Review}

Reviewed By Jason S. Lockard

One of the most unique books I had the pleasure to review last year was Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer now Top Shelf Comics has released a brand new book in the adventures of the little wooden puppet and his vampire slaying friends.

The story picks up after Pinocchio and his crew’s last epic vampire encounter. While traveling they come to a zoo and they decided to take a look around, but this is no ordinary zoo, this is a vampire zoo. Complete with a humongous blood craving gorilla.

This comic book is 32 pages of off the wall, hilarious and dark fun. The black and white artwork is reminiscent of old film noirs. It’s mysterious and funny! This book balances the goofy concept with the dark story of vampires and what results is an amazingly fun read! Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down!

When you see Pinocchio vampire slayer you may thing oh that’s silly I’m not wasting my time. Don’t let the title fool. This is a fund read. Head over to www.topshelfcomix.com and find out how to get your copy today!
